The Institute
Chittaranjan Smriti Primary Teachers’ Training Institute is a body of Chittaranjan Smriti Educational Trust. The institution is coeducation by nature. The institute is situated on  land of 1.16 acre which is registered vide Deed No. 959 of 2004, 906 of 2004 and 961 of 2004. The main building is constructed over a area of 20,000 sq ft. The objective  of the Institute is to extend education and guidance to the aspiring Primary Teachers those who need technical and specific guidance for preparing for the entrance examination of the Primary Teachers.

Dr. Sarmita Chattapadhyay, the educationalist, is the Principal of the Institute supported by the teaching and non teaching staff members. The Institution has residential and non residential study system. The students are provided with Library, Reading Room, Computer Room, Common Room and Play Ground/Internal Game Center to pass their leisure. The teachers too have their own common room for refreshing themselves. Hostels facilities are built separately for the boys and girls under supervision of a senior teacher. Strict discipline is maintained not only in the school but also in the hotels arena.
The Institute has been recognized by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education the status of vide seub section (2) of section 20 of the West Bengal Primary Education Act 1973.
