Chittaranjan Smriti Primary Teachers’ Training Institute, a subsidy of Chittaranjan Smriti Educational Trust which is a  registered  body registered vide No. 7970 dated 12th September, 2003 of Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal. The trust is governed by a governing body headed by Smt. Shipra Kar, the Chairman. The governing body of the trustee comprises of Educationalists, Academicians, Professionals, Entrepreneurs and Social Activists. The institute is  is located at Raiganj, Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal.

The Institute thrives to educate and bring our quality Primary teachers to build the future of the nation. The prime mission of the  institute as founded by the trust, is  to assist the educated students to choose academic profession for building the children of tomorrow.

The institute aims to impart, promote and spread education in Arts, Literature, Science and Commerce to the subjects of the Union of India and abroad at large and grant stipends, scholarships, studentship and other allowances, concessions or gratitude to deserving students and candidates. The institute facilitates residential accommodation and boarding houses for teachers, staff members and other persons engaged in carrying out any of the objectives.

The institute  holds examinations and grant certificates of proficiency or other academic distinctions or title to persons who have compiled with the conditions laid down in the regulations or By-laws of the Trusts and/or the Government authorities or any other statutory body set up by the government authorities.
